ABOUT TEA

Ceremonial Matcha | "Powdered tea"

Shizuoka, Tuba, Honshu, Japan.

This is exactly the tea that is brewed during the Japanese tea ceremony. To produce such tea, the highest quality young tea leaves are used, harvested from April to May. After a long and difficult process of picking and processing, it is ground in stupas. The result is a "powder", which is brewed by whipping it in water.

This tea has a very unusual delicate, creamy texture, sweet and fresh taste. This is a very healthy drink that has retained the maximum amount of vitamins and microelements. This tea is also the record holder for caffeine.

There are many gradations in the quality of Matcha tea, depending on which, tea is either used in the tea ceremony, or in cooking, or in cosmetics. Here is the so-called Ceremonial Matcha, which means that this product is of very high quality, and is intended for a tea ceremony.

Harvest: Spring, 2020.

"Such tea requires a special attitude, attention and brewing skills. The more you put your soul into the brewing process, the more it opens its own for you."

Andrei Ivanov (IPN.LV Tea master)
