Huo Shan | “Vulcano Oolong”
Baise, Guangxi, China
High mountain wulong from the Baise area, Guangxi region, not far away from Yunnan province as well as Ha Giang province, Vietnam. Lightly-fermented and perfectly spherically twisted, these tea leaves plucked from plantations grown on volcanic soils rich in nutrients. Very unique, aromatic and rich tea.
From the first contact till the last drop, this tea conquers our hearts with delicate, sweet and strong fragrance. Dry tea leaves have aroma with confectionery notes. Belgian waffle, cookies, custard. When heated, the aroma develops and becomes more milky and creamy. Rinsed tea leaves have some buttery, floral notes. The taste is very delicate, creamy, velvety and deep, with notes of roasted seeds and nuts. Tea develops throughout the entire tea drinking process and pleases with new shades of aroma and taste.
