Sencha is the classic and most common green tea in Japan. Due to the special grade of the tea bush (Yabukita) and the original production technology, this tea has a unique taste and aroma that distinguishes it from any other green tea.
The originality of the production lies in the fact that after picking the tea leaves are being steamed. Steaming here is a fixation method used to stop the oxidation of the tea leaf. Then this tea is twisted and dried.
Tea has a unique flavor and taste of "umami" - which is an independent, fifth taste in China, Japan and other countries of the Far East. The infusion also contains marine and grassy notes. The drink is fresh and sweet.
* This is the so-called first harvest Shincha, which is very appreciated for its soft and special taste.

This is the very taste for which I so respect Japanese tea. This is what moved me all these years until we finally added this tea to our range.
