This teapot was made in the late 90s and remained intact for more than 20 years until it was purchased by our colleagues in the city of Yixing city from one of the respected sellers of Yixing ceramics. Such teapots are very appreciated by connoisseurs for the excellent quality of the material, which allows the teapot to become better faster than modern analogs.

This type of Yixing clay is best suited for brewing lightly fermented oolong, red, and Sheng(raw) pu-erh tea.
