Lao Cong Dian Hong | “Yunnan Red tea from old bushes”
Feng Qing, Yunnan, China
This is a classic of Chinese red tea. Reference taste and aroma.
Our Dian Hong is made from the leaves of wild old tea bushes, which are about 70 years old. In addition to first-class raw materials, the work of the master also deserves special praise. This is literally a work of art!
When dry, tea leaves have a stunning aroma, with notes of honey, sugar candy and wild berries. When heated, the tea begins to smell like salty caramel, fresh sweet and sour bread, milk chocolate with a touch of sour berry. After the tea has been washed, notes of dried apples, raspberry jam and blackcurrant appear in the aroma. The taste of the infusion is sweet, with fruit freshness and chocolate motifs. The infusion is voluminous, soft with a very long, magical finish.
