Jiu Qu Hong Mei | "Red plum"
LinShan, Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China
The history of the appearance of this tea originates from the tea province of Fujian. The indigenous people moved to the city of Hangzhou because of the overcrowding of native Fujian in the 70s. The tea-growers came to terms with the changes and started to produce red tea under the name, referring to the surprisingly beautiful river - the water artery of Fujian - JiuQuMei - the river of 9 bends.
Tart, plum, rich, but at the same time a moderate taste, will certainly have a liking for those who like to bring to their lives unusual and original types of tea with paint colors and subtle but strong tastes.
Harvest: Spring, 2021.
