Moc Chau Hong Cha" | Red tea from Moc Chau"
Moc Chau, Son La, Vietnam
This red tea is special because it is made from the Taiwanese oolong leaves grown in Vietnam. This gives the tea an unusual floral and berry taste. The tea has a long sweet aftertaste with notes of cinnamon and a laurel leaf.
This tea grows in a place called Mok Chau in western Vietnam on the border with Laos. The master who made this tea specializes in oolongs for many years. This is a kind of experiment that ended in success. Excellent weather conditions and climate allow you to grow an excellent tea leaf here.
Harvest: Spring, 2019.
