Tea Masters Cup Latvia 2018

The competition took place during the international food exhibition RIGA FOOD 2018 on 7 and 8 September. The tea championship took place in two stages, where the participants competed in four different nominations. The first day passed the nomination "Tea Preparation" and "Tea Pairing", and on the second day "Tea Mixology" and "Tea Tasting".

There were many bright and original performances, many new emotions and tastes, as well as many new people with whom we are united by a love of tea. Several foreign judges came to our event, namely Dmitri Filimonov (TMCI Champion 2018 in the "Tea Preparation" nomination), Anil Cooke (International referee, speaker, professional tea taster and tea expert from Sri Lanka) and Hong Anh Nguyen (International Judge of TMC, vice president of the Tea Association of Vietnam, director of the Tea Masters Cup Vietnam Organizing Board).

According to the results of the competition, we have three people who will represent Latvia in the world final. We sincerely congratulate each of the winners and wish them victory in the world. We also thank all the participants and judges for their participation and their efforts. And of course, we are very grateful to our colleagues of the Latvian Tea Board for working together in organizing this event.
