This teapot is made from the Shi Huang Ni Yixing clay
The classic shape called "Bian Fang"
A master in the second generation made this teapot, specializing in classic types of teaware. The left side of the teapot is decorated with calligraphy which means “interesting & peaceful lotus pond”.
The lid of the teapot is decorated with a frog on a lotus leaf. A perfectly seated cover gives a full vacuum and an ideal stream. Completely handmade. Ideal for Chinese classical tea ceremony Gongfu Cha.
This type of Yixing clay is best suited for brewing weakly fermented oolongs, red teas and sheng pu-erh tea.
