With the support of the Vietnam Tea Masters Academy and the Vietnam Tea Association, this spring we will again organize a Tea Tour to Vietnam. This is an exciting journey and a great opportunity to get acquainted with the culture, traditions and nature of this beautiful country. April is considered the most favorable month for a holiday in Vietnam. The swimming season begins, the bright sun shines and the average air temperature throughout the country is + 25 ° C. We are waiting for a rich program, many new emotions and unforgettable places in the company of pleasant people.
The tour program, which lasts 9 days (8 nights) includes:
- Journey to the west of Vietnam, to Sonla province, where the breathtaking tea plantations of the Mok Chau district are located. Here the tour participants will be able to see and even take part in the picking and production of tea right during the spring harvest. Our tea master is one of the most experienced in Vietnam. He grows up and produces first-class tea and he is always happy to share his experience and love for this wonderful drink. There are a lot of local sights and breathtaking views await us.
- After this, we are waiting for an amazing journey to the very north of the country, high in the mountains, where famous ancient tea trees grow, from the leaves of which the locals produce fine tea. Here, high in the mountains, under the guidance of an experienced tea master, the tour participants will be able to pick the leaves from more than 600-year-old tea trees and take part in the production process of Pu-Erh tea. We will spend an unforgettable 3 days and 2 nights in the mountains, in the company of local tea farmers, enjoying the local flora, fauna and of course amazing traditional local cuisine.
- Finally, we will have an unforgettable tour to Nin Binh province in northern Vietnam. The territory of the province is replete with beautiful landscapes formed by limestone rock formations resembling the characteristic view of Halong Bay (because of them Ninh Binh is sometimes even called “Halong on land”). Here we are waiting for a boat tour among the rocks, rice fields and directly through the large karst caves in these rocks, a visit to the largest complex of Buddhist temples in Vietnam called Bai-Dinh in the Gia-Vien area, local species where action film “Kong: Skull Island” (2017) was shot. All this and more in the company of local residents and under the guidance of professional guides.
Between this, we have to spend 4 nights in the capital of Vietnam, in the city of Hanoi. This is the second largest city in the country. We will stay in the very center of old Hanoi, where you can fully enjoy the life of this amazing place. There will be an opportunity to visit the local tea and various cultural attractions.
The tour is conducted by the tea master and tea taster of the company www.ipn.lv Andrei Ivanov. A world-class tea expert, researcher of varieties of cultures of different nations of the world, member of the international tea community Chaism.Pro., Tea blogger, champion of Tea Masters Cup International 2017 Enshi, China and a certified judge of TMCI.
